OFFICIAL RULES
Capital Sports & Entertainment, Inc. and Blackstone Winery (each a “Sponsor”) are sponsoring a contest in conjunction with the 2006 Austin City Limits Music Festival.
The sweepstakes grand prize is:
2 - roundtrip airfare vouchers to Austin, TX on Southwest Airlines from
any major U.S. airport it serves,
1 - 4-night hotel room accommodation at the Radisson Hotel in Austin,
2 - 3-day VIP tickets to the Austin City Limits Music Festival to be held
September 15-17, 2006,
2 - tickets to the Pre-Concert Taping of Austin City Limits,
Dinner for 2 at Stubb’s Legendary Kitchen (alcohol not included).
The total retail value of this combined grand prize is approximately $2,000.00.
1. ELIGIBILITY: SWEEPSTAKES ENTRANTS MUST BE LEGAL U.S. RESIDENTS AND AT LEAST 21 YEARS OLD AT TIME OF ENTRY TO BE ELIGIBLE. VOID IN CA AND UT AND WHERE TAXED OR PROHIBITED BY LAW. Employees of the Sponsor, their alcoholic beverage distributors and retailers, liquor agencies/branches and liquor licensees, restaurateurs, liquor wholesalers, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion fulfillment and/or judging agencies, and the immediate family members of each are not eligible. Sweepstakes is subject to applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations.
2. HOW TO ENTER: This sweepstakes begins on 6/1/2006 and ends on 8/1/2006. To enter, each contestant must submit entry information in one of the following ways: (i) via official entry form, which can be found in the form of a tear pad in participating retail stores that sell Blackstone Wine, (ii) via regular mail using a 3x5 inch card, or (iii) via submitting the information online. To enter via the official entry form or on a 3x5 inch card, print your name, address, state, zip code, date of birth (month, day, and year) and daytime phone number and mail to: 2006 Blackstone Winery/Austin City Limits Music Festival Sweepstakes, Dept. 543245, Lubbock, TX 79452-3245. To enter online, go to http://www.barbecuesthatrock.com/ and submit the required information. You may enter as often as you wish, but each entry must be mailed or submitted online separately and received no later than 11:59 p.m. (CT) 8/31/2006. No mechanically reproduced entries accepted. Sponsors are not responsible for late, lost, stolen, illegible, incomplete, damaged, postage-due, or misdirected entries; hardware or software failures; lost, unavailable, failed, or delayed computer transmissions; or any error which may occur in the receipt or processing of entries. Sponsors are not liable for any losses due to electronic or computer malfunction. All entries become the property of the Sponsors.
3. WINNER SELECTION: One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received. The random drawing will be conducted on or about 8/15/2006 by United Marketing Services, an independent judging organization whose decisions on all matters relating to this sweepstakes are final and binding in all respects pertaining to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.
4. PRIZE: One (1) Grand Prize (ARV: $2,000) includes: roundtrip coach air transportation for two from the commercial airport nearest the Grand Prize Winner’s home to Austin, Texas, one 4-night hotel room accommodation at the Radisson Hotel in Austin, two 3-day VIP tickets to the Austin City Limits Music Festival to be held September 15-17, 2006, two tickets to the Pre-Concert Taping, Dinner for two at Stubb’s Legendary Kitchen (alcohol not included). Travel must be completed on September 26, 2006. Prize Winner is solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes on prizes, and for any and all meals, gratuities, travel upgrades, personal incidentals and any other expenses not specified as prizes herein. Prize Winner’s Travel Companion (“Guest”) must be at least 21 years of age at the time of travel. Prize Winner and Guest must travel on the same itinerary. No substitution, assignment, redemption for cash, or transfer of any prize permitted except at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If Prize Winner and Guest are unable to travel during specified dates, Sponsor will select another winner in a random drawing of all other qualified entries received. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in the event that the offered prize is unavailable. Prize Winner must supply Sponsor with his/her social security number for tax purposes. Sponsor shall not be responsible for any cancellations, delays, diversions or substitutions or any act or omissions whatsoever by the events, air carriers, or other transportation companies or any other persons providing any of these services and accommodations to passengers including any results thereof such as changes in services or accommodations necessitated by same. Sponsor shall not be liable for any loss or damage to baggage. If either Prize Winner or Guest becomes disabled or cannot otherwise fully enjoy the sweepstakes prize package due to illness, Sponsor shall have the option at their sole discretion of: (1) being relieved of liability for fulfillment of the prize award; or (2) extending the period during which such prize may be awarded for a period equal to the duration of Prize Winner’s or Guest’s disability or illness. Prize Winner or Guest must prove such disability by a doctor’s certificate, which certificate shall be endorsed by another physician agreeable to Sponsor and Prize Winner at Sponsor’s expense.
5. CLAIMING PRIZES/RELEASES: Eligibility, age and claim by Prize Winner are subject to verification. Winner’s Guest must also meet all eligibility requirements. Winner will be notified by mail and or telephone within 60 days of the drawing date as indicated in #3. Potential Prize Winner must sign before a notary and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Prize Acceptance/Release of Liability and (where legally permissible) a Publicity Release Form within ten (10) business days of receipt. Non-compliance will result in disqualification and the prize will be awarded to an alternate Prize Winner in a random drawing from among all remaining entries.
6. GENERAL: By entering this sweepstakes, entrants, Prize Winners and Guests: (1) agree to be bound by these rules; (2) agree to release Sponsor and their parent companies, Sponsor related entities, alcoholic beverage distributors and retailers, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion fulfillment and/or judging agencies from all liability, claims, action or proceedings related to the sweepstakes and from injuries or damages relating to acceptance or use of the prize; and (3) Prize Winner consents to the use of his/her name, voice, picture and likenesses for advertising and promotional purposes in any medium throughout the world in perpetuity without additional compensation unless prohibited by law.
7.
